Hinckley’s first and only Micro Brewery has been up and Brewing since August 2013, when brothers Tracy Ellis and Phil Woodward, both CAMRA members and Beer Enthusiasts opened the first commercial brewery in Hinckley since 1900. 

In 2016 Tracy and Phil decided it was time to pursue other ventures and sold the Brewery on, Louise and Darren Lavender who are landlady and landlord of two local real ale pubs decided to branch out into the world of brewing , keeping the name and beer range,  Elliswood Brewery has increased its customer base and continued to produce and supply quality craft to all over the UK, adding new beers and specials.  

In 2020 Darren and Louise, decided it was time for a change, Elliswood Brewery needed a new name, and a new outlook on the brewing world, and after many discussions New Buildings Brewery was born.  

But as you know 2020 caused many challenges for Beer production and pubs but it also gave an opportunity to spend time working on the creation of New Building Brewery, and its brand.  

With a scaled down range and new recipes New Buildings Brewery will continue to produce and supply quality craft ales to customers new and old.
